Don landed his first professional gig at fifteen years old playing the drums for his father’s band in his hometown of Youngstown, Ohio. His talent quickly led him to move to New York City and later to tour the United States and Bahamas. Don’s devotion to the arts inspired him to transition from his thriving career as a drummer and vibraphonist to a different form of expression - the piano. He became enraptured by the instrument’s ability to freely blend harmony, melody and rhythm. Don has been described as a soulful, passionate, seasoned musician who is accomplished in many genres of music. Don’s mellifluous and rhythmic sound resonates with his fans and he’s the first to thank God for the gift of music, which he believes is a blessing and ultimately, his mission.
